Keynote speaker
Marta Paez-Ribes, PhD, studied biology in Barcelona, where she later obtained a PhD in biomedicine before moving to the University of Toronto as a postdoctoral fellow to investigate tumour angiogenesis. In 2015 she joined the University of Cambridge where she has been focused in unravelling the crosstalk between tumour cells and their microenvironment in the context of metastasis, with a special interest in spatial biology.
