Marie A. Charpagne is an assistant professor in the Materials Science department at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She received her PhD from Mines ParisTech in 2016 and then spent five years at UC Santa Barbara focusing on 3D materials science. She develops data merging routines that aim at digitizing experimental microstructures and extract statistical and non-human biased correlations, in the aim to elucidate the processing-microstructure-property linkage in materials for extreme environments.
