Raúl Bolmaro

Dr. Raúl Bolmaro is Full Professor at the National University of Rosario, Argentina (UNR) and Principal Researcher at the National Council of Research (CONICET). Currently is the Director of the Rosario Physics Institute. His fields of interest were developed during several post-doc and visiting Scholarships at Los Alamos National Laboratory (USA) and as DAAD and Fulbright Fellowships. An early training in texture development took him the whole way from diffraction analysis, either by x-rays, neutrons and synchrotron radiation, to micro and mesoscopic characterization of materials by EBSD. Currently he applies all those techniques to a wide span of materials and phenomena, including metals, ceramics and bio-materials.
