The Virtual RMS AFM & SPM Meeting 2022 will take place online. You will receive a zoom link nearer the time of the meeting.
The Virtual 3-day event, 4-6 July, is free to attend.
Further information will be sent out to you, by email, nearer the time of the meeting. A PDF meeting booklet will also be sent out to you, by email, just before the meeting. To be more sustainable we will only be providing an electronic copy of the pdf booklet.

The Hybrid ticket option is now closed. One day of the meeting is going to be hybrid, 5 July. The virtual meeting will still be running, but if you wish you can travel to Sheffield and attend an in-person hub. If you wish to attend the hybrid part of the event, there is a small charge of £25 to cover catering (refreshments and lunch) during that day. A dinner at a local restaurant will also be organised for the evening of 5 July, for hybrid attendees, after the meeting that day has finished. You can add this to your registration as an additional option for £35. If you select the hybrid option, you will still be able to attend the 2 virtual only days of the meeting, 4 and 6 July.

The Hybrid day of the meeting on Tuesday 5th July will take place in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Sir Robert Hadfield Building, University of Sheffield, Mappin Street, Sheffield S1 3JD.

Further information on how to reach the hotel is on their website. The nearest train station is Sheffield Station, from the station you can catch a direct tram to the University. Parking is available on site but requires a permit in advance.
Accommodation is not included in the event registration.
