This initiative is a collaborative undertaking by three international Microscopy Societies (the Royal Microscopical Society, the Microscopical Society of Canada and the Israel Society for Microscopy).  

Professor Ricardo Henriques gave a lecture entitled "Open technologies for Super-Resolution and Machine Learning in BioImaging".
