For early career researchers, support from an industrial partner can go a long way in laying the groundwork required for an established career with long-standing industrial collaborations.
Industrial support can be available in many forms ranging from mentorship and guidance to support in obtaining funding from a research council. These are some of the many ways industry can help and is of mutual benefit to both parties. In this article we will be showcasing some examples of support companies such as Johnson Matthey (JM) provide by highlighting JM’s academic open innovation programme. Our intention is to spread awareness of the type of support RMS early career researchers can tap into
for future collaborations and support.
