SNAIA – CRISTMAS 2024: Best student presentation

The RMS was very pleased to support the 'Best Student Presentation' award at the recent SNAIA – CRISTMAS 2024 (Conference on Research and Innovations in Science and Technology of Materials).

The event, which took place in Paris earlier this month, brought together experts from academia and industry covering the most exciting, emerging applications within the fields of Photonics, (Opto)Electronics, Chemistry, Biology, and many more.

The 'Best Student Presentation' award was won by Francis Rey Cortes (Universitat Jaume I, Spain), for his talk, 'Pulsed Laser Fragmentation Synthesis of Carbon Quantum Dots (CQDs) for Non-Enzymatic Glucose Detection'.

He received the award from RMS Engineering, Physical & Material Sciences Section Chair, Anna Baldycheva.
