Rob Kesseler shares his work at new exhibition inspired by natural world
Eye-catching images created by RMS Ambassador and visual artist Rob Kesseler are currently on show at a newly-opened exhibition in Athens.
The Hellenic American Union exhibition, entitled The Silent Language of Plants, is aimed at showcasing both the beauty and biological significance of plants.
Rob, who is Emeritus Professor of Arts, Design & Science at Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London, is renowned for his collaborative work with scientists, and for a series of critically-acclaimed publications featuring micro images of plant forms. He has a long association with the RMS, contributing to publications, conferences and outreach activities.
As part of the exhibition, which runs until 14 April, Rob will deliver a lecture titled “Through a different lens – Collaboration in Art & Science”.
The exhibition features the work of 30 acclaimed visual artists inspired by the beauty and magic of the natural world, opening a creative dialogue between art and the public science of plants.
