Details of Annual ACEM Meeting announced

Held this year in the beautiful Belgian city of Ghent

Instead of their traditional one day meeting ACEM have planned two days of talks.

Wednesday 25 June will be the traditional ACEM day. There will be no renal day at PathSoc this year, however I hope you will find the ACEM programme has plenty of renal content to balance this. You will see from the programme that we have invited a wide range of speakers.

Thursday 26 June will be a launch event in celebration of the publication of the 5th edition of Ultrastructural Pathology of the Cell and Matrix by FN Ghadially. The new edition has been planned and edited by Bart Wagner.

The task has been many years in the making and to celebrate many of the chapter authors will deliver short talks on their specialist areas. ACEM organisers are especially delighted to welcome Professor Ruby Ghadially, the daughter of FN Ghadially himself to speak about her father and his legacy.

Bart and his co-editor John Stirling will be present to celebrate this great achievement – which will be appreciated by today’s diagnostic EM community as well as future scientists.

Registration for Ghent Pathology 2025 and the ACEM Meeting is open now
