Discussion: Multiplexing with more than 30 markers
Reply:Hi Torsten
There are many many options now out there and it is not necessarily the cost of the instruments, but the reagents themselves. It can also be cheaper to use an open access system in some instances.
Akoya and ChipCytometry are also worth a look, with Lumaphore up and coming.
We have Nanostring GeoMx DSP, which can do 80+ antibodies simulateously, but this doesnot give sub cellular info, more user defined region of interest analysis. It is relatively fast and can also do RNA as well as protein, but does not have the same spatial resolution compared to e.g Akoya-CODEX etc. Pro's and con's to all!
Best
