On Monday 20 January 2025, we ran an online community consultation meeting for UK-IMAS (IMaging Across Scales), a proposed pioneering national bioimaging infrastructure initiative to understand spatial biology in context. You can find more information about UK-IMAS in these slides:

Target Audience: Drawing from our previous successful community workshops, we aim to engage researchers across academic and industry sectors in across all life science research domains

During the meeting, we discussed how this proposed infrastructure can:
- Break down imaging technology silos
- Develop integrated multimodal imaging approaches
- Enable scale-crossing biological discoveries
Key discussion areas included:
- Multimodal workflow development
- Advanced imaging technologies
- AI/ML and data integration strategies
- Open Q&A session
All from academia and industry were very welcome to attend, and particularly potential end users of the proposed infrastructure.
