The Summer School will be taking place on 15-17 & 20-22 June 2022 with an optional networking and discussion day on 23 June 2022.
The ESRIC Summer School is designed to give participants a thorough grounding in super-resolution microscopy in an informal setting. It brings together leading academics in the field and the major suppliers of super-resolution microscopes to provide expertise and guidance in the theory, practise and analysis of techniques including structured illumination microscopy (SIM), stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy, single molecule localisation microscopies (e.g. PALM, dSTORM, DNA-PAINT), super-resolution radial fluctuations (SRRF) microscopy, and minimal photon fluxes (MINFLUX) imaging.
The 2022 course will be held virtually over six half-days with an optional networking and discussion day following the main programme. As with previous iterations of the Summer School, the 2022 course will consist of informal lectures and workshops, and will offer participants ample time to gain project-specific advice from all of the academic experts and suppliers through dedicated networking sessions. The Summer School is suitable for anyone with prior experience of fluorescence microscopy looking to exploit the benefits of super-resolution microscopy for their research.
This year, we will have a number of funded places available for promising pre-PhD researchers or for early career staff who do not have access to funding to cover the course fee. For full information about the course programme, please visit www.esricsummerschool.org.
